One discovery about the Red Planet stands out above all others. That is the presence of liquid water on Mars.

Even if no past or present life is found on Mars, there’s still much excitement on the horizon.

There are still no signs of little green men, but NASA announced in September 2015 the discovery of proof of recent flowing liquid water on Mars.

Scientists confirmed in 2008 that the Red Planet has frozen water.

Ojha, however, notes the salty water spotted by his team would not be a good home for living creatures since perchlorates can be toxic.
