I am going to give HINTS by giving you some synonyms and antonyms for each puzzle word above. It would be a good exercise (for both your writing and reading comprehension) to know the meanings and how to use each of these words in a sentence."

  • Word #1: synonym = unconcerned, insensitive, nonchalant; antonym = caring, earnest
  • Word #2: synonym = contented, satisfied, assured, smug; antonym = worried, disturbed
  • Word #3: synonym = reserved, closed-mouthed, taciturn, self-contained; antonym = forthcoming, talkative
  • Word #4: synonym = curious, questioning, prying, investigating; antonym = ignoring, uninterested
  • Word #5: synonym = attentive, earnest, careful, intense; antonym = lethargic, lazy, slothful

Puzzle #2 - Directions.
