  26. retelling
    a new version or adaptation of a story
    Write two brief retellings of "A Problem." First, retell the story from the point of view of the Colonel and then from the point of view of Ivan Markovitch.
  27. antecedent
    the word, phrase, or clause to which a pronoun refers
    Antecedents are the nouns or other pronouns for which pronouns stand. A pronoun must agree with its antecedent in number, person, and gender.
