    Hitting yourself is one of the country's rituals.

    whip or scourge; punish as if by whipping
    During certain religious ceremonies, some people flagellated themselves brutally.
  18. hypnotize
    induce a state that resembles sleep in
    It's nuts! They hypnotize them and just toss them into battle.
  19. carnage
    the savage and excessive killing of many people
    Absolute carnage.
  20. devoted
    zealous in allegiance or affection
    They're totally devoted to the new regime.
  21. denounce
    accuse or condemn openly as disgraceful
    A glimpse of what goes on in our house would be enough for them to denounce us!

    someone who sells wine
    My uncle was the vintner.
  23. genuine
    not fake or counterfeit
    He had built a genuine wine-making lab in his basement.
  24. tract
    a brief treatise on a subject of interest
    When your father was alive, I was always hiding his tracts.
