Cornelia Arnolda Johanna "Corrie" ten Boom was a Dutch survivor of the Holocaust in World War II. With her family, she helped hide in her home many Jewish people from the Nazis. After she and her family were arrested for doing so, they were sent to a concentration camp. Her book The Hiding Place tells her and her family's story.
