John Bul Dau

John Bul Dau is a human rights activist, author and organizer. He was born in Sudan and fled when civil war broke out. He spent many years as a refugee in Africa before arriving to Syracuse, New York. Once in the U.S., he earned a degree in Policy Studies and founded a number of organizations to improve the lives of South Sudanese citizens, especially by establishing medical facilities.
