Saadia Faruqi

Saadia Faruqi is a children's author and editor-in-chief of Blue Minaret, a magazine about Muslim art, poetry, and literature. She is widely known for her early reader series, Yasmin. Her novel, A Place at the Table, co-written with Laura Shovan, was a Sydney Taylor Notable, and her novel, A Thousand Questions, received the South Asia Book Award Honor.
