Marilyn Nelson
Marilyn Nelson is an award-winning American poet, translator, and children's book author. She is professor emeritus at the University of Connecticut and the former poet laureate of Connecticut. Her collection A Wreath for Emmett Till won the Boston Globe/Horn Book Award and was a Coretta Scott King Honor Book and a Printz Honor Book.
