Safia Elhillo

Safia Elhillo is a poet and author of young adult literature. Her poetry anthology, Halal If You Hear Me, was a Lambda Literary Award Finalist and her debut collection of poems, The January Children, won the Arab American Book Award and the Sillerman First Book Prize for African Poets.
