    Pg 39, Used to describe Gregor's father's sleep habits. I found this important because it stressed his father's exhausting work schedule and how he failed to ever get enough sleep, falling asleep at the table more times than not.

    Pg 37, used to describe Gregor as he is running r=from his dad, I picked this because it helped to describe his exhaustion when trying to even simply run that he couldn't think straight enough to simply crawl onto the walls.

    needlessly modern, different, or innovative
    Pg 36, used to describe Gregor's feeling of discovering his new crawling skills, I found this word interesting because it is kind of ironic to describe his crawling techniquess as a new "fashion" and added a little light to the story.
  4. quavering
    (of the voice) shaking as from weakness or fear
    pg 34, used to describe Gregor's mother's voice, I thought this was important because it showed the increasing despair in his family over the whole situation and that it was draining and exhausting everyone mentally.
