Robbie Waisman
Romek "Robbie" Waisman is a Polish-Canadian educator and member of the Holocaust survivor community in Canada. In 1944, he was interned at the Buchenwald concentration camp and forged strong relationships with the other children imprisoned there. He is the author (with Susan McClelland) of the nonfiction work, The Boy From Buchenwald, which received starred reviews from Kirkus and Booklist.
