Benjamin Alire Sáenz is an American poet, novelist, and writer of children's books. He won the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction in 2013 for Everything Begins and Ends at the Kentucky Club, and his novel Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe won the Stonewall Book Award, Pura Belpré Award, and was named as a Michael L. Printz Honor Book.
