Patty Duke (1946-2016) Tribute List

Oscar-Winning Actress Patty Duke died on March 29, 2016 at the age of 69. Duke won her Oscar for her portrayal of the young Helen Keller in the film version of The Miracle Worker and went on to great success in her self-titled show, where, through the magic of television, she played identical cousins. As an adult, Duke was very outspoken about her battle with Manic Depressive Illness, writing two autobiographies that dealt with the subject.
