A slogan is a short saying or catchphrase, often used by political groups. "Four more years!" and "Yes we can!" are slogans.
Are you good at thinking of short little bits of language that make a point? There have been many slogans in the history of American politics, including "Tippecanoe and Tyler Too" and "It's the economy, stupid." Slogans are a form of adverting and are similar to product catchphrases, like "I'm cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs!"
