It's a privilege for us here at Vocabulary.com to meet so many inspiring educators who are out there each and every day doing largely unsung work.

As we've visited your classrooms, strolled your hallways, and attended your celebrations, we've collected countless stories about the positive difference you're making in students' lives.

Those stories have become such a source of inspiration for us that we wanted to share them with, well, everyone. So we partnered with award-winning Meridian Hill Pictures to create this series of short documentaries as our love letter to teachers everywhere, and their profoundly important work.

Vocabulary.com proudly presents: If You Had the Words…

Episode 1: Mr. Terrell's Story

Today, we launch the series with Episode 1: Mr Terrell’s Story. Mr. Terrell is an "ordinary" teacher making an extraordinary difference in his Houston-area high school.

Stay tuned in the coming weeks as we roll out the rest of the series.

These inspiring people — and their stories — are the heart and soul of every school. If you have a story you'd like to share, drop us a line at support@vocabulary.com.

Vocabulary.com would like to thank Meridian Hill Pictures, the award-winning filmmakers who brought these special stories to life. It was an honor to collaborate with their talented team.

We'd also like to thank the following schools and their administrators, staff and students for their generosity during this project: Nimitz High School, Buck Lodge Middle School, Margate Middle School.
