synchronized

Things that are synchronized happen at exactly the same time. When you're lip syncing to a pop song, your mouth and the music's lyrics are synchronized.

If you and your best friend go jogging together side by side every morning, your movements probably become synchronized at times. And if you and your brother like to make sure your watches are synchronized, you keep them set to the exact same time. There's even an Olympic sport that involves synchronized movements, the dance-like synchronized swimming. The Greek root is synchronos, "happening at the same time."
