requested

Use the adjective requested to describe something that's been asked for. When a radio DJ plays the song a listener asked for, she might describe it as a "requested tune."

If you and your classmates have been begging your history teacher to order pizza for everyone at the end of the semester, she might surprise you with delivery one day and announce, "Here's your requested pizza party!" A list of requested library books would include everything you've asked to check out. Requested is rooted in the Latin requisita, "a thing asked for."
