A galleria is a covered shopping area, like a mall or a bazaar

Galleria means "gallery" in Italian, from a Latin root meaning "church porch." Like a gallery, a galleria is a long, covered space, but it's specifically one that's lined with different shops or vendors selling goods. Many shopping malls have galleria in their name, from the Luk Yeung Galleria in Hong Kong to the Saint Louis Galleria in Missouri.
