When you do something comically, you do it in a ridiculous or funny way. Dashing comically down the street with one missing shoe might draw a lot of amused attention.

You can use the adverb comically to describe something that happens in an amusing way, like clowns tumbling comically around during a parade. You can also use the word when you talk about something that goes wrong in a foolish way, like a comically bad building design. Comically comes from the adjective comical, "funny," with its Latin root word comicus, "of comedy, or in comedic style."
