Thais

Thai things have something to do with the country of Thailand, its culture and people, or the language spoken there. Many people enjoy Thai food.

Thai is Thailand's official language. It's closely related to Laotian, and it borrows more than half of its words from other languages, including Sanskrit and Pali. The word Thai can also be used for the cuisine of Thailand, a type of food that includes noodle and rice dishes, spicy curries, and desserts that lean heavily toward fresh fruit. The word Thai, originally Tai, means "free."
