Get a headstart on word learning

A familiar face to most learners, Flashcards are the perfect activity to introduce new words on Vocabulary.com.

Students can work independently anytime, anywhere to prepare for their upcoming practice assignments, quizzes, and more. Students can access Flashcards at any time on the List page, engaging with them alongside their other activities to study, test themselves, or refresh their knowledge of previously mastered words.

Vocabulary gets visual

Flashcards are excellent for visual learners and many students will flip for this new way to explore and interact with the words on Vocabulary.com. The visual format also creates an opportunity for teachers to use Flashcards during in-class instruction and discussion.

With our revamped lists and collections, you’ll notice that Flashcards appear on every one of these curated resources on Vocabulary.com. Once signed in, you’ll be able to view the entire set of Flashcards at the top of each List page.

Start learning with Flashcards. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3:
  1. Select a list from our vast list library with over 13,000 curated resources.
