Anyone can enter to compete in The Vocabulary Bowl for a chance to claim the championship title. Every word you master during the contest earns you a Vocabulary Bowl point, helping you climb the leaderboards and expand your vocabulary like never before. Our adaptive activities identify the exact words you need to learn and get right to work to teach you those words, so learners of all ages and proficiency levels can compete.

How to participate
All learners with a paid subscription will automatically be registered when the competition starts on October 1. Purchase a Vocabulary.com subscription to get registered and compete against learners worldwide.
How to earn Vocabulary Bowl points
Once you have an active subscription, you can start earning Vocabulary Bowl points on October 1 with these adaptive activities:
