We're all for getting more books into the hands of young readers, so each month Vocabulary.com is raffling off a batch of new, high-quality books. October's drawing is all about Battle of the Books, the popular nationwide reading initative that encourages students to read as many recommended titles as they can, and vote for their favorite.
Our book raffles run for about a week on both Facebook and Twitter, where we post the details along with links to our free vocabulary resources. Our curated lists allow allow you to create engaging instructional activities that support your students' comprehension and prep them for close reading.
