Teaching Staff Beliefs

We believe that we are highly qualified adults who will use or instincts, knowledge and training to help encourage, motivated, instruct, and guide our students so that every day they leave our school knowing what they learned, what our goals are, where their hard work will pay off and they will be proud of their accomplishments!

We believe all students can and deserve to learn in a positive and encouraging environment.

We believe that it is imperative for students, families, and school staff members to work together to nurture successful children.

This will demonstrate empathy and build a sense of trust and fairness.

Staff will provide students structure and consistency in all areas of learning.

I believe we need to all be consistent in following procedures.

Teachers will provide all students the opportunity to express their feeling with positive feedback that will help them with the situation.

All staff are responsible and should support each other by enforcing school/class rules to provide consistency for our students.

We will teach students procedures and guidelines for success.

To achieve as an individual I need a supportive administration that encourages and strengthens a teacher’s ability to meet the needs of their students.

I believe we need to all be consistent in following procedures.

We will also explain why they are receiving this consequence in the hopes that the same infraction does not happen again.

Also, teachers need to stay focused and monitor students at all times.

For us as educators, to treat each child with respect, in hopes of the child learning to respect others but most of all himself.

STAFF (everyone) is stretched to the max everyday trying to ensure that kids are learning, safe, having fun, making goals, and enjoying their childhood.

We will work together to educate, mentor, and guide all students to become successful adults.

They need to hear staff complementing them.

I believe that I come to Hamilton everyday to teach all children that they are capable of being the best reader, writer, speller, mathematician, and scientist.

Each student comes to us from a different place, behaviorally, for us to nurture, reinforce, model for students to be able to learn expected situational behaviors.

Not in response to positive things or negative consequences, but because it is the right thing to do!

You must not blame where they are from but do what you can do to make it happen.

Too much time is often spent dwelling on how and blaming parents.

We will work together for the benefit of the students.

I believe all faculty and staff are responsible for instructing students in how to behave and follow rules appropriately and think it’s a process over times.

They should set up and maintain rules and procedures in their classroom and hold students accountable.

To achieve as an individual I need a supportive administration that encourages and strengthens a teacher’s ability to meet the needs of their students.

Each student should have equal access to learn.

It shapes their character.

Assertive discipline is a good and proactive measure.

All teachers must be consistent in keeping all students accountable for their behavior, education, and conduct.

We are here to provide a safe, positive experience for all students and staff.

I believe we can help students gain basic life skills that will last for not only for the school and educational procedures but for life – listening, following directions, being more helpful than hurtful, service (help other students and staff).
