Churchillian

Use the adjective Churchillian to describe a writer or a speaker whose style is similar to that of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

Politicians are often called Churchillian when they appear to be uncompromising, focused, and strong, as Churchill was a powerful and determined wartime Prime Minister. Even more Churchillian, though, is an excellent public speaker, especially one who has the ability to get the audience energized and cheering. Churchillian political orators are skilled at electrifying listeners the way Winston Churchill did during his famous "we shall fight on the beaches" speech in 1940.
