The zodiac is the circular arrangement of the 12 astrological signs. When someone asks, "What's your sign?", they are asking about your zodiac sign.

What's your sign? Depending on when you were born, it's Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, or Pisces. Those are called the signs of the zodiac, which stand for the twelve different constellations (groups of stars) the sun moves through each month. If you study astrology, you'll see what people think each sign of the zodiac means. Astrologers look at the zodiac and say things like, "a Pisces shouldn't marry a Leo.”
