Vocabulary University® - Our Innovative and Creative Approach Embraces Universal Standards for English Language Arts

The NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English) and the IRA (International Reading Association) sponsored a detailed analysis of what standards should be used in "encouraging the development of curriculum and instruction that make productive use of the emerging literacy abilities that children bring to school."

We are proud to be in a recent article in The Reading Teacher (September 2006, Volume 60, No. 1, pp. 70-75) - The journal of the International Reading Association. We were selected as one of the "25 best Internet sources for teaching reading". Click here for a PDF copy of The Reading Teacher article.

We at www.vocabulary.com meet these standards and list the specific details below.
We are proud of the impact that we have make in schools throughout the United States and the world. We promote learning English vocabulary by providing interactive activities and exercises that nurture the disciplined understanding of Latin and Greek roots.
