  • 3 - REVOLTING In the heat of the summer, a garbage dump produces REVOLTING odors of rotten meat, fruit and vegetation.
  • 4 - DESPICABLE People who lie, cheat and steal have faults that are among the most DESPICABLE traits in the human personality.
  • 5 - MONSTROUS The mysterious jungle creature had a MONSTROUS head, a gargantuan body, huge talons and a piercing scream.
  • 6 - REPREHENSIBLE The police officer arrested the offender for his REPREHENSIBLE behavior in knocking down the 94 year old woman and stealing her meager possessions.
  • 7 - REPELLENT I protected myself against infernal mosquito bites by spraying a strong insect REPELLENT over all parts of my exposed body.
  • 8 - AGGRESSIVE The AGGRESSIVE wolf was quick to snarl, bare his teeth and it howled repeatedly.
  • 9 - DEVOUR In a very short period of time, the powerful lion DEVOURED the antelope that he had been stalking and had finally killed.
  • 10 - ADVERSARIAL The two male moose showed their hostility as ADVERSARIAL enemies when they tried to win sole control of the herd of females.
  • 11 - PHENOMENON The Grand Canyon is truly an exceptional place, a real example of a PHENOMENON of nature.
  • 12 - APOCALYPSE The APOCALYPSE occurred when the violent tornado struck the trailer park and destroyed each and every home.
