VOCAB U. - Session 135-Level Two Contextual Story

All the words in Level #2 come from the root/cells: MISS/MITT, TEND/TENS/TENT and RECT/REG.
Do you know what each one means?
Sam Mantics
Sam Mantics gives you the answers:

  • MISS/MITT: to send
  • TEND/TENS/TENT: to stretch
  • RECT/REG: right, rule
Please read the paragraph-story below to help you study and learn new words. In the Session #135 activities following the story, the exercises will help you determine and understand the meaning of the twelve new words. The 12 story words are listed alphabetically below.
  • correction, extensive, inadmissible, intensity, noncommittal, omission, realm, rectangular, regime, superintendent, tendency, transmit

Why did the SUPERINTENDENT give a NONCOMMITTAL answer as to the disciplinary action taken by the administration? Sam's INADMISSIBLE behavior included EXTENSIVE examples of terrible comportment. Unfortunately, he still does TRANSMIT a hostile attitude. There needs to be a CORRECTION in the INTENSITY of his serious mischief. Sam has a TENDENCY to assume he is like a king of the REALM since in his REGIME he includes many followers. The superintendent's OMISSION to be direct worried Sam, the students and the community.
