| How do I register/sign up my students or my whole classroom to participate? | Registration is FREE at Vocab U! Fill out our registration form individually or send us an email with a list of people and we will sign them up. Each participant will have his/her own name but can share an email with the teacher, if desired. Many students have 2 registrations, one at school and one at home (where they can share the puzzles with their whole family). There will be NO commercial use, nor will we give our participants name or email to anyone. See our Privacy Policy. |
| Where can I find more details about the Vocab U. site? | When you go to our Sitemap you will see a great deal more about both the "Word Villages" and "Puzzle Villages" at Vocabulary University®. |

We anticipate that sponsors may also send additional congratulatory items (currently being considered!). |
| Where can I find a list of basic roots and meanings? | The puzzles at VOCAB U. are ALL ROOT-BASED and grade-level specific. We have also created Word City - a city of root-word "buildings". We like The Onelook Dictionary (http://www.onelook.com/index.html), as a great web resource of multiple dictionaries including root details. Another favorite recommendation is a book entitled "Instant Vocabulary" by Ira Ehrlich, published by Simon & Schuster in 1968. |
| How often do you create new VOCAB U. puzzle sessions? | Our new product called My Vocabulary is a 39 Week Lesson Plan that will go for an entire school year! We create a new "session" every two months (the most recent one is Fall 2003). The next one, Session #136, will be posted soon. |
| Can I get previous puzzles? Is there an archive? | All the previous session puzzles are in our archive. We have supplied "word bank" exercises for sentences using the words from the puzzles. We also provide sentences with words in their proper context. Feel free to copy and use these in class. We welcome feedback from you and participants after their use. |
